About the founder, Terry Barton

Ms. Barton is an accomplished facilitator, trainer and executive coach who brings over 20 years of progressive Management experience and over 10 years of Change Management and Training and Development experience to her clients.Prior to establishing TBG Consulting, she held positions in the retail, container shipping and bio-technology industries and is a certified Achieve Global, BEST Instrument, Checkpoint 360, DDI, DiSC, Human Synergistics and Situational Leadership facilitator.

Ms. Barton received a Master of Science degree in Management and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications from the University of Maine.

In addition to her corporate and consulting experience, Ms. Barton is an adjunct faculty member at Chabot College in Hayward. She is a popular speaker and an active community member, serving on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Training and Development Golden Gate Chapter (Now the Association of Talent Development). She is a graduate of the 2007 Leadership Oakland program and is a member of NCHRA, BOLD and the Bay Area OD Network.
